Why Poly Syncer
Real engineering, not a stack of integrations
The product is a low-latency execution pipeline. Every role above touches code that decides what milliseconds matter and what does not. We do not have an integration team because there is nothing left to integrate — the system is built end to end.
Genuine ownership
The team is fourteen people. Each role on this page replaces a single point of failure. New hires take ownership of a vertical from day one and ship to production within the first two weeks. Equity is meaningful and explained transparently in the offer letter.
The prediction-market frontier
Prediction markets are where derivatives were in 2015 and crypto was in 2017 — the alpha is large, the infrastructure is thin, and the regulatory picture is settling. This is a rare moment to be early on a market structure that is still being written. The manifesto covers why we think this matters.
Open roles
All roles are remote, distributed across global time zones with at least four hours of overlap with European working hours. To apply, email [email protected] with a short note and a link to work we can read.
Senior Rust Engineer (Execution)
Location: Remote — global · Type: Full-time · Comp: $170k–$230k base + meaningful equity
Own the mirror executor — the service that turns approved intents into private-bundle orders on Polygon. You will be the person who decides whether we shave another two hundred milliseconds off the p99 or invest those engineering cycles somewhere else.
Must-haves:
- Five plus years of production Rust, including async runtimes under sustained connection load
- Deep familiarity with EVM transaction lifecycle, EIP-712, and at least one private-mempool relay
- Comfortable being paged when the p99 graph misbehaves at 03:00 UTC
Smart Contract Auditor
Location: Remote — global · Type: Contract · Comp: Fixed-scope contract, $40k–$80k per engagement depending on surface area
Engage with us on a fixed-scope audit of the next authorization-contract revision and the Q3 cross-venue routing layer. We have an established relationship with Trail of Bits — this seat is for an independent second pair of eyes.
Must-haves:
- Published audit reports on EVM contracts handling authorization flows or session keys
- Working knowledge of Polygon-specific edge cases (reorg windows, gas pricing, bridge interactions)
- A clear, blunt writing style
Quant Researcher
Location: Remote — global · Type: Full-time · Comp: $160k–$220k base + meaningful equity + performance component
Improve the leader-trust scoring model and the Kelly-cap calibration described in the whitepaper. You will have access to four years of fully labeled Polymarket fills and a backtesting harness already built out.
Must-haves:
- Background in statistical modeling at a quant fund, market maker, or crypto trading firm
- Comfort writing production-grade Python or Go — research that does not ship is not finished
- Skepticism toward your own backtests
Product Designer
Location: Remote — global · Type: Full-time · Comp: $140k–$190k base + meaningful equity
Design the next iteration of the trader dashboard, the leaderboard, and the strategy composer. We have one designer today; you would be the second, with broad ownership over the visual system and interaction patterns.
Must-haves:
- A portfolio of shipped product work in fintech, trading, or data-heavy SaaS
- Fluency with Figma component systems and a sensible eye for typography
- Willingness to read the order-book code so your designs reflect what actually happens
DevOps / SRE
Location: Remote — global · Type: Full-time · Comp: $160k–$210k base + meaningful equity
Keep the listener and executor alive across multiple regions and four RPC providers. Build the next iteration of our observability stack — current state is Prometheus, Grafana, and a custom latency exporter that we are mildly proud of.
Must-haves:
- Production experience with low-latency, multi-region services (sub-second SLOs, not "eventually")
- Strong Linux fundamentals, Terraform, and one of Pulumi or CDK
- A real opinion about when to use Kubernetes and when not to
Head of Risk
Location: Remote — global · Type: Full-time · Comp: $200k–$260k base + meaningful equity
Own the policy layer that sits between the listener and the executor. Define the framework for what we copy, what we refuse, and how we communicate the difference to subscribers. Reports directly to the CEO.
Must-haves:
- Senior experience in trading risk, exchange risk, or quantitative compliance
- Comfort writing policy as code, not policy as PDF
- Track record of saying no to product features that traded subscriber safety for growth
Community Lead
Location: Remote — global · Type: Full-time · Comp: $110k–$150k base + meaningful equity
Run the Discord, run the contributor relationship with top leader wallets, run the public-facing voice on social. We are not chasing a million followers — we are building a small, technically literate community of people who actually trade.
Must-haves:
- Demonstrable history operating a serious crypto or trading community
- Strong written voice that does not default to hype
- Comfort moderating, escalating, and occasionally banning
Hiring philosophy
We hire on demonstrated work. Every interview loop includes a paid take-home that mirrors a real problem from our backlog — never a leetcode round. Candidates keep the work and the IP regardless of outcome. We aim to give a yes or no within ten business days of the take-home, and we tell every finalist why we made the call we made.
We do not run pipeline funnels designed to filter thousands of resumes. The roles on this page are the roles that exist. If none of them fit but you believe you would meaningfully improve the company, write anyway — we keep an honest queue and read it.
For company background, the about page is the right starting point. For technical context, read the whitepaper. Questions about the process go to [email protected].
